The Gore Park Community Outreach is a grassroots, volunteer-powered mutual-aid effort in downtown Hamilton, Ontario, Canada that hands out free meals, groceries, and essentials every Saturday — with kindness, compassion, and zero judgment. Started amid a winter storm in 2021 with six volunteers and simple sandwiches, it’s grown into a weekly meal program serving around 1,000 people and teaching the next generation how to show up for their neighbors when governments won’t.
