Sing Democracy 250

Sing Democracy 250 uses choral music to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and encourage participation in American civic life. Organized through the Together In Hope Project, the initiative brings singers, community choirs, and audiences together around a musical program reflecting democratic ideals, shared humanity, and the responsibility of citizenship. Its performances include newly commissioned works alongside familiar American songs. How to use this resource: Explore https://www.singdemocracy250.org/music for its music program and https://www.singdemocracy250.org/all-america-program for community participation information. Choir directors, educators, cultural organizers, and residents planning events can use the project to start conversations about democracy through music.
