East Wing Restoration is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the representation of Democratic women in state legislatures across the United States. The organization identifies, recruits, trains, and supports women candidates who are running for state legislative office, with a particular focus on building long term political leadership and strengthening representative democracy.
The organization works to reduce barriers that often discourage qualified women from seeking elected office by providing campaign training, strategic guidance, fundraising support, and access to experienced political mentors. Its programs are designed to help first time candidates and emerging leaders develop the skills necessary to run competitive campaigns and serve effectively in public office.
East Wing Restoration also promotes civic engagement by encouraging more women to participate in the political process, whether as candidates, volunteers, donors, or community advocates. By investing in state legislative races, the organization seeks to influence public policy at the state level while building a broader pipeline of future political leaders.
For the Resistance Directory, East Wing Restoration is a valuable resource for individuals interested in expanding women’s political leadership, supporting democratic institutions, and increasing civic participation through candidate recruitment and campaign development.
